Afghan Haze

Afghan Haze is a potent 60/40 sativa-dominant hybrid strain created by Nevil Schoenmaker (of Sensi Seeds) and Shantibaba (Mr. Nice Seeds).  It is a cross between Afghani indica and Haze sativa from four sativa landraces; South American, Thai, Mexican, and South Indian.  The average THC content is between 15 to 21 percent.  

Afghan Haze is a diffcult grow and not recommended for novice and intermediate growers.  Flowering time for Afghan Haze is ten weeks indoors, and mid to late October outdoors in a warm environment with plenty of sunlight.  

The aroma profile is damp earth and wood with a mild sweetness.  The flavor is sweet and skunky with damp earth and wood mixed in.  

Medicinally, this mood-lifting plant helps with mood swings and mood instability.  It is great at relieving symptoms of depression and chronic stress and relieves headaches.  Some use it to combat nausea.  A mild energy boost helps with fatigue, but the effects are short-lived.
