Alpha Blue

Alpha Blue is a 90/10 sativa-dominant hybrid marijuana strain.  It is a cross between Blue Dream and NYC Diesel.  The average THC content is between 15 and 20 percent.  

In 2011, this strain took home second place in the best sativa category at the High Times Medical Marijuana Cannabis Cup in Denver and San Francisco.  

Flowering time for Alpha Blue is eight to nine weeks indoors, and mid-October outdoors in a warm, sunny, and dry climate of at least 72 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.  This plant does best outdoors and is resistant to common molds and mildew.  

The aroma profile is a mix of fruity blueberry and sweet candy with a strong earthy scent and diesel undertones.  The flavor is blueberry and diesel with hints of skunk.  It leaves a lingering sweet aftertaste on the exhale.
