Black '84 - UW Black '84

Black ‘84, or UW Black ‘84, has an unknown indica lineage and is possibly descended from Afghani genetics.  It is a leaked strain from the University of Washington’s medical cannabis garden from the early and mid-80s.  The average THC content is 15 percent.  

Flowering time for Black 84 is seven to eight weeks indoors, and late September to early October outdoors in a warm, dry environment.  

The aroma profile is a pungent mix of sweet, fruity, honey, peppery, and tropical flavors with a caramel and nutty smoothness.  The flavor is a tropical berry, grape, honey, sweet taste with hints of bitter coffee and peppery notes.  

This plant’s potent relaxing effects are recommended for nighttime hours.  Medicinally, Black ‘84 helps with anxiety, acute or chronic pain, cramps, insomnia, and anorexia (loss of appetite).
