Durban Poison is a 100 percent sativa marijuana strain that Ed Rosenthal collected some South African landrace seeds in 1970s. He found some fast flowering strains in Durban South Africa. Ed gave some of his seeds to Mel Frank and he then modified the seeds to have more resin and a shorter flowering time.  This is today's Durban Poison as we know it.  The average THC content is 24 percent.

Flowering time for Durban Poison marijuana strain is 8 to 10 weeks indoors and mid-October outdoors in a warm, semi-humid environment with temperatures ranging from 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
